What We Do

“Glorifying God by building laborers on the campus for the lost world.”

Our Mission

The mission of Witt CO is to create and catalyze united movements that transform Wittenberg University for Christ. By bringing students, campus ministries, and local churches together in prayer and evangelism, we strengthen the influence of the Body of Christ on campus.

“God sees us as we are, loves us as we are, and accepts us as we are. But by His grace, He does not leave us as we are.”

— Tim Keller

Christ Centered

Jesus is the head of the Church. We unite to exalt Him, to seek Him and to make Him known.

“And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent.”

Colossians 1.18

Relationship Driven

The depth of our relationship must match the breadth of our vision for transformation.

“ For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

2 Corinthians 4.5-6

Local Church

God’s vision to transform college campuses is bigger than any one ministry.

“I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me”

John 17.23

Mission Directed

Mission will always flow out of Christ-centered transformation, focused relationships and prayer.

“We grow beyond merely accommodating one another toward valuing (and therefore needing) one another. We consider each other better than ourselves, looking to others’ interest above our own.”

Philippians 2.3-4
